Who is Kate and what is so wrong with her?
Kate is a fictional character. I mean who wouldn’t want to date Kate. Keep reading, you didn’t come this far to stop. Our band is a duo whose work, to date, revolves around love and relationships. We wanted something that would fit with that and so we asked the hypothetical question, “What if two friends liked the same girl?” We figured they would each say, “You can’t date her!” Taking it a little further, the first two words start with the same sound, so it is easier to remember. The letter D is a hard sounding consonant which is great for an exciting phrase. All we needed was a name to complete the phrase. Kate rhymes with date so it was a natural fit. Altogether, don’t date Kate is a memorable, exciting phrase that leaves you needing an answer. Dang you marketing people.
To our knowledge, there is nothing wrong with anyone named Kate or any of the derivatives of that name, such as: Cate, Katie, Katy, Catie, Katherine, Katheryn, Katharine, Katherin, Kathereen, Katherene, Catherine, Catheryne, Katelyn, Katlyn, Kathren, Kathryne, Kathrine, Kati, Katia, Katja, Katya, Katye, Kady, Kayte, Kaytee, Kaytie, Kathyrine or any other spelling I might have missed.
Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
